Podcasting has been around for the better part of a decade, but it is just recently that it appears to be organizing itself economically. There is an audience threshold which still makes success elusive for many podcasters. Writer and podcaster Ann Friedman has assembled an excellent look at the economics of podcasting in a piece for the Columbia Journalism Review.
